The AWI-10 Digital Torque Wrench is a professional car repairing tool that offers four unit selection options, making it easy to use. This device has a wide range of features, including buzzer and LED notification, and can be used for both trace and peak measuring modes.
To operate the AWI-10, users can press the "U/S" key to select the desired unit, which can be 10 N.m, 7.37 Lbf.ft, 88.50 Lbf.in, or 101.97 kgf.cm. It is important to choose the correct unit before applying force.
The device offers two measuring modes: Trace mode and Peak mode. In Trace mode, the displayed value will change as the user applies different force, with the reading increasing as force is increased and decreasing as force is released. When the applied torque approaches the preset value, the LED light and buzzer will be activated. In Peak mode, the displayed value will keep showing the maximum torque value when the user applies different force, and the LED light and buzzer will be activated when the applied torque approaches the preset value.
To change the measuring mode, users can press the "M" key to switch between T (Trace) and P (Peak) modes. In Trace mode, the screen reading will return to the preset value when the user releases their grip, while in Peak mode, the maximum measured value will keep flashing on the screen when the user releases their grip.
The AWI-10 also allows users to select a preset memory group. By pressing and holding the "M" key for 2 seconds, users can enter the preset memory group selection mode and use the up and down keys to select the memory data from 0 to 9. After selecting the preset group, users can press the "M" key for 1 second to quit the selection mode and return to the measuring mode. Users can then press the up or down key to change the selected preset value.
The device features LED and buzzer alarms that are activated when the applied torque approaches the preset value. When the applied torque reaches 100% of the preset value, the LED light and buzzer will be on continuously, and the alarm will decrease gradually as the force is released.
The AWI-10 digital torque wrench is constructed from high-quality steel and ABS industrial plastics, making it durable and resistant to oil and solvents. It meets or exceeds ASME B107.14-2004 and ISO 6789 standards, and no calibration is required as it is pre-calibrated at the factory.
