Yes, all TORC helmets are DOT approved. We have replacement shields available for the T-1, T-14, T-15, T-28, and the T-50, with many color choices such as clear, light smoke, dark smoke, and chrome.
The TORC T9 New Retro Helmets feature faux suede, 4 barrel metal mesh exhaust ports, adjustable crown intake ports, chin vents with metal mesh intake & internal airflow switch, a removable anti-scratch & anti-fog resistant shield, and a sweat-wicking faux suede liner. They have a padded chin strap with D-ring closure, multi-density EPS, and meet DOT & ECE homologation standards. The weight ranges from 1450 +/- 50g for XS-M to 1550 +/- 50g for L-XXL, with a medium oval fit. These helmets meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 218 and come with a 1 Year manufacturer warranty.
