TORC T27B1 FWT RS L T27B Full Face Modular Helmet with Blinc Bluetooth
The T27 is a revolutionary development in TORC helmet technology, inspired by European design. This new modular helmet takes the concept to a new level in both pricing and overall size. Measuring nearly 20 percent smaller than the model it replaces, the T27 achieves this compact form without compromising protection, thanks to major advancements in EPS technology.
Featuring significant intake venting and incredible Venturi venting for the rear exhaust, the T27 offers impressive airflow. The slider-based drop-down visor mechanism is reminiscent of much more expensive devices. The front chin bar is secured by a one-button release latching system, with stainless steel posts and a metal-on-metal locking mechanism. The head form fit is an intermediate oval, and the shell and chin are made from a thermoplastic alloy. The fully removable and machine-washable liner adds to the helmet's convenience.
In addition to these impressive features, the T27 comes equipped with improved Bluetooth 2.0 technology, ensuring compatibility with your Bluetooth-enabled cell phone, Android, or iPhone. With two built-in speakers, up to 8 hours of continuous talk time, and 150 hours of standby time, the T27B allows you to receive and send calls, listen to stereo music streaming from your MP3 player, phone, or XM radio, and clearly hear GPS directions. Incoming cell calls automatically override other communications, but the new call reject feature can limit interruptions. Combining two or more BLINC-enabled helmets enables rider-to-passenger and passenger-to-rider intercom functionality, as well as bike-to-bike 2-way communications within 100 feet.
Other features include a noise-cancelling microphone, full-duplex communications with a DSP filter, self-adjusting volume, and glove-friendly, waterproof controls. This new model is both ECE and DOT certified, meeting Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 218.
